They have committed themselves to providing the most advanced prosthetics and treatment to create the most positive patient experiences of any facility in the Greater Dayton and Columbus Region.
John Brandt, Co-Owner
LPO, CPO, Clinical Director
John Brandt is an American Board Certified and Ohio Licensed Prosthetist/Orthotist. John has provided prosthetic and orthotic care in the greater Dayton area for over 20 years. He earned his BA in Biology from Wright State University (1990) and a post-graduate certificate in Orthotics and Prosthetics from Northwestern University (1991).
Scott Schall, Co-Owner
LP, CP, Business Director
Scott Schall is an American Board Certified and Ohio Licensed Prosthetist. He has provided prosthetic services as a Rehabilitation Engineer since 1992, is a contributing inventor to 16 patents, and is a U.S. Army veteran (1984-1987). Scott earned a BS in Mechanical Engineering (1992) and an MS in Rehabilitation Engineering (1993), both from Wright State University, and completed the Northwestern University Prosthetic Certificate Program in 2008.
LPO, CPO, Clinical Manager - Columbus
Tim Riedlinger is an American Board Certified and Ohio Licensed Prosthetist/Orthotist. Tim has provided prosthetic and orthotic care in the greater Dayton and Columbus areas since 1994. He earned his BS in Prosthetics and Orthotics from University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas (1994). Tim serves as the Clinical Manager of our Columbus location.
LP, CP, Clinical Manager - Dayton
Glenn Schober is an American Board Certified and Ohio Licensed Prosthetist. Glenn has been providing prosthetic care for over 20 years, and returns to the Miami Valley following a 5-year sabbatical from clinical care. During this time, he worked with leaders in the area of elevated vacuum suspension and CAD/CAM with laser scanning technology. Glenn earned his BS in Mechanical Engineering from Michigan State University (1987), and his post-graduate certificate in Prosthetics from the University of California at Los Angeles (1988). Glenn serves as the Clinical Manager of our Dayton location.
Travis Barlow is an American Board Certified and Ohio Licensed Prosthetist. He earned his BS in Biophysics from Bringham Young University (Provo, UT) in 2007, and completed the Northwestern University Prosthetic Certificate Program in 2008.
Megan Albury (Stoudinger) is an American Board Certified and Ohio Licensed Prosthetist/Orthotist. She has been caring for orthotic and prosthetic patients since 2007. Megan earned her BS in Biomedical Engineering from Wright State University in 2006. She then completed the Newington Certificate Program in Prosthetics in 2007 and went on to complete the Orthotic Program in 2009.
CPA, Certified Prosthetic Assistant
Ellie is a Certified Prosthetic Assistant. She has assisted in providing prosthetic and orthotic care for more than 10 years and has been heavily involved in the fabrication process for 20 years.
PTA, Prosthetic Assistant, Gait Specialist
Jim Scharf has been a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant since 1988. Jim has worked with lower extremity amputee patients throughout his career. He serves as Gait Specialist and Liaison when prosthetic patients are meeting with their therapists, offering his expertise, advice, and support throughout the patient’s rehabilitation.
Aimee Eckert is a below-knee amputee, sustained during an auto accident. She has unique insight and perspective into amputation, and serves as a patient advocate, offering encouragement and support. She stays closely involved with each patient from the time of surgery, through recovery and rehab, until the prosthesis is received and gait training begins.
Lyndsey Wilcox is a bilateral below-knee amputee. Lyndsey lost her legs at the age of 12 due to loss of circulation to her lower extremities. Over the years, she has spent time at the Nationwide Children’s Hospital talking to patients and their families to help them overcome their concerns and help answer any questions. As a patient advocate, she stays closely involved with each patient from the time of surgery, through recovery and rehab, until the prosthesis is received and gait training begins.
Bryan Jones joined the Optimus team in September 2014 and his role is to aid practitioners in documentation, outcome measure, adjustment and other day to day clinical tasks.
Kelsey Barris received her BS in Exercise Science from Eastern Michigan University in 2012 and her MS in Orthotics & Prosthetics from Eastern Michigan University in 2014.
Anita manages office operations, including insurance and patient billing and collections, accounts payable, appeals, and payroll; as well as oversees all administrative processes.
Crystal is responsible for managing the recruiting, human resources, and compliance for the company.
Compliance Assistant/Marketing Assistant
Amanda is responsible for reviewing documentation to ensure compliance with Medicare and Medicaid guidelines while maintaining excellent relationships with our referral sources and working closely with other members of the administrative and clinical team. She also manages our website, Facebook page, and eNewsletter content and distribution.
Kristilyn is the first to greet patients and answer the phones in our Columbus office, scheduling appointments and helping to obtain detailed prescriptions.
Juliy answers the phones in our Dayton office, scheduling appointments and helping to obtain detailed prescriptions, as well as obtaining insurance authorizations.
Maribeth greets patients, answers the phones in our Dayton office and helps with scheduling appointments.
Samantha checks out patients, answers phones, assists with scheduling appointments and obtains detailed prescriptions at our Dayton office.
Bev is responsible for submitting claims, receiving and posting insurance and patient payments, following up with insurance companies and filing claim appeals while maintaining excellent relationships with our payer sources and working closely with other members of the administrative team.
Client Relations Director, O&P Solutions
Beth works for our sister company, O&P Solutions, assisting independent practices nation-wide as they implement business solutions and best practices. She helps ensure that our processes at Optimus Prosthetics are running smoothly.
CTP, CPA - Lab Supervisor
Matt oversees the lab, managing the fabrication process and the technicians. He has been heavily involved in the prosthetic field and fabrication for over 20 years.
Senior Prosthetic Technician
Russell works in the lab, fabricating custom prosthetic devices and assembling them with selected componentry. He also manages inventory and shipping/receiving.
Tim works in the lab managing the shipping, ordering and lab inventory for the company.
Noah works in the lab, fabricating custom prosthetic devices and assembling them with selected componentry.
Tommy works in the lab, fabricating custom prosthetic devices and assembling them with selected componentry.
